SILNETNEWS: why many have commended your leadership style and your ability to getting things done,  other who have come under your leadership  have accused you of being to autocratic, how would you respond to this?

Blessed Jatt: My Leadership orientation is that of getting things done, even if it has to do with sacrificing the immediate for the ultimate goal. Not everyone will be pleased all the time  yet non can argue the results. I am not an autocrat  neither am I a democrat in the context of Nigeria's usage of the terms. I will  prefer to be called an automocrat.

SILNETNEWS : wow hold on a minute,  did you say automocrat?  Were is that coming from?  Can you please  define the term?

Blessed Jatt: My leadership and political orientation  is 'automocracy'.  It means I am automocratic or better still an automocrat.

Automocracy /noun/ is a system of government of a country in which there is a fair representation of everyone in the process of decision making even though the leader may make unilateral decision if he/she deemed it fit for the general good. 2. A system of government in which an elected official can act unilaterally for the general good of the system

Automocratic /adj/ a country, state, system,  etc controlled by representatives who are elected by the people of a country who may act unilaterally for the general good of the system. 2. Base on the principle that all members  have an equal rights to be involved in running an organization as long as the said individual right do not constitute a hindrance in achieving the goal of the organization. 3. A necessary right conferred on leaders  to act and take unilateral decisions for the general good.

Automocracy is a political theory which hold that every leader that wants to succeed must consult with the people he leads but must know when to take unilateral decision for the general good  of all.

This theory holds that since it is the leader that takes responsibility for the flaws and failure of the group he leads,  then a leader should be able to also  unilaterally decide the direction of the group no matter whose axe is broken. In a nuts shell leadership success depends on the leader not being too democratic or autocratic.  The middle ground is automocracy; a Mix of the two previous theory.

At the heart of this theory is the Believe that as a political  leader who wants to succeed one thing you don't want  to do is to be nice.  Be a good man,  love the people you lead but nicexity should not have any  place in leadership. Men will undermine, frustrate and truncate your  plans leaving you all alone  to take the fall while secretly laughing at your every stumble.  I believe  this was what happened to Goodluck Jonathan as president of Nigeria.

Men are more forthcoming  in complaining when you fail and singing praises when you succeed. You were appointed to lead because they know you can deliver, to therefore limit your abilities by listening to every suggestions and opinions  is in itself a betrayal of the earlier confidence in your ability to lead. Get as much input as possible,  but do not lead by input and suggestions and when the team start to lag behind unmotivatable then it is time to go unilateral for the general  good.

SILNETNEWS: you have been at different sphere of leadership, politically what should  the world expect from you in the coming days?

Blessed Jatt: (smile)  I will  be the President  of Nigeria. Nigeria  need strong willed men,  who do not have a price at which they can be bought. I believe I am the answer to the prayer of Nigeria. Politically, I am at the moment weighing my options soon it will be announced.

SILNETNEWS: recently you received the innovative leadership Award from the department of history and international studies, University of Benin,  what can you tell us about that?

Blessed Jatt standing with his award

Blessed Jatt: well as you have rightly  mentioned the 2016 graduating  class of the department of history and international studies honoured me with the Innovative leadership Award for my passion,  dedication and commitment to leadership and getting  result. My passion at all times is to getting result,  breaking records and setting new standard. I believe that for there to be change I must first be the change I want to see.  This is what I believe neccesitated the award.  Which I must with fail dedicate to Prof.  Eddy Erhagbe. Who's humility and simplicity has been a motivation to me

SILNETNEWS: recently you described yourself as being successfully unmarried, is there any plans yet to upgrade the status?

Blessed Jatt: (laughing)  well I am already thinking in that direction, am searching  already,  once the table is set you will be informed.

SILNETNEWS: thank  you for your time

Blessed Jatt: welcome anytime
