Tears As Uniben Staff commit suicide

News reaching our desk says a staff of the University of Benin has committed suicide amidst lingering ASUU strike.

Picture here is Carter Oshodin- a Data Entry staff of University of Benin, who was said to have committed suicide.

Report has it that he was seen in the in school premises yesterday begging for money only to later hung himself last night. Frustration mixed with depression!!!

A professor in the University, who pleaded anonymity was quoted by Weekend PUNCH on Saturday as saying that it is disheartening that they have not been paid since the strike action began. He also wondered why those who called of their strike are still not been paid by the government.
